AN INVESTIGATION is underway after a dog walker discovered a man’s body in woods in Higham.
The dead man, who is believed to be a Zimbabwean national, was found at around 9am yesterday morning (February 1).
It is understood he was found hanged.
He is believed to be the boyfriend and prime suspect in the murder of student Rudo Mawere in Dublin last weekend.
Miss Mawere’s body was found in a travel bag which had been dumped on a street.
Kent Police have yet to formally identify the dead man but he is believed to be called Jasper Taruvinga, and sometimes used the alias Jason Dube.
A Kent Police spokeswoman says they are working with the Irish police to see if the body is that of a man they were seeking in relation to an alleged offence last weekend.
