PLANS for a multi-million pound cycle park were promoted at a live entertainment festival.
Kent County Council (KCC) showcased designs for its 106-acre Cyclopark, which will be opened off the A2 near Northfleet in 2012, at a stall at Gravesham Council’s Big Day Out event.
The Cyclopark project team told revellers in Gravesend town centre about the park, which will include a cycle track, BMX track, skate park, football pitches, playground and pavilion for indoor sports.
Gravesham Council leader Councillor Mike Snelling said: “Cyclopark will be a huge draw for Gravesham and the wider Kent Thameside and we were delighted to support the project at this year’s Big Day Out.”
