KENT police has been named one of the top forces in the country.
A report by Her Majesty's Inspectorate of Constabulary said the force is one of the top performing and most improved in the country.
The Police Report Card was produced to tell the public how forces across the country are performing.
In the report, Kent police's work to reduce neighbourhood crime has been singled out for praise.
Chief Constable Mike Fuller said: “We have worked hard with partners to reduce crime and we have achieved a consistent reduction over the last five years.
“There is no doubt the report is on the whole very good news for Kent.
“However, I want to emphasise we are not complacent and will do everything we can to continue improving our service.”
