THE family of a pregnant woman injured in a car explosion in Vigo on Friday have spoken of their shock.
Victoria Fabian, 32, is recovering in a London hospital after the car she was in exploded at around 1.10pm on Friday.
She suffered serious but not life threatening injuries, and her unborn baby was unharmed.
Her husband Nicholas Fabian, 32, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder in connection to the incident.
This afternoon Mrs Fabian's family released a statement.
They said: "The family is deeply saddened and shocked by Friday’s incident and the sequence of events as they unfold.
"At the moment all our energy and attention is focussed on supporting Vicky and her children.
"Vicky is in the best place and has started her long road to recovery."
