TICKETS are now available for a mayor’s annual ball and dinner.
The mayor of Gravesham, Councillor Bronwen McGarrity, is hosting the black tie event from 6.30pm at the Woodville Halls, Woodville Place, Gravesend on March 5.
Entertainment comes from the Joe Loss Orchestra, which has been playing since 1930 and was a regular on the original BBC series Come Dancing.
Dinner tickets cost £40 while those just wanting to dance can buy dance-only tickets for £20.
People not dining should turn up from 9pm.
There will be a cheese table available for nibbles all evening and a charity raffle.
Cllr McGarrity said: “I hope that everyone I have had the pleasure of meeting throughout the last year will come and make this a wonderful reunion.
“I am looking forward to all of them enjoying one of the biggest names ever in ballroom dancing.
“This is strictly for everyone.”
