FISHING lessons are available to young wannabe anglers this summer.
Qualified angling coach Warren White is running twice daily two and a half hour sessions for five to 17-year-olds every Friday from July 31 to August 28 at Darenth Fishery, Darenth Hill, Dartford.
Last year the course was over-subscribed, so those who wish to take part in a session of the Dartford Council organised course must book in advance by calling 01322 343470.
Mr White, 46, said: “Last year I met with Dartford Council about running a course of taster sessions, which is a good way of introducing young people to Angling.
“We did the course, and it was so popular it was oversubscribed.
“As they were so successful last year the council have agreed to run them again this year, which hopefully will give more children the opportunity to experience fishing.”
