A THEATRE group performed for free for school pupils to encourage them to not be wasteful with water.
Sponsored by Southern Water, travelling group the Facepack Theatre Company acted out the play ‘Are You a Drip?’ at Ifield School, Cedar Avenue, Gravesend, last Friday (July 3).
Wearing masks and using puppets, the actors showed the children with special education needs the importance of saving water and drinking plenty to be healthy.
Gravesham MP Adam Holloway watched the play alongside the youngsters, and said: “I really enjoyed the performance and, more importantly, I could see the children did too.
“It was an innovative way of getting across the importance of saving resources and drinking more water.”
