YOUNGSTERS got a taste of Gallic culture when they were visited by students from France.
Twenty pupils from a school in Vaison-la-Romaine, Provence, spent a week staying with families of students at Horizon Primary School, Hilda May Avenue, Swanley.
They experienced a typical school day and went on excursions to Leeds Castle and on an open top bus tour of London.
The week reached its climax with a farewell party, disco and barbecue.
Modern foreign languages subject leader Caroline Clark said: “The whole week was about making a link between the schools.
“We took students last year to France, and this return exchange was about developing language skills and interacting.”
