YOUNGSTERS will have the chance to improve their football skills at weekly coaching sessions.
The sessions, for children aged between five and eight, will be held at Swanley Technology College.
Every Saturday morning, starting this week at 10am, girls and boys can improve their game with help from professional football coaches.
The training scheme is run by Evolution Football Academy, which also holds weekly one-hour sessions in primary schools across Dartford, Gravesham and Swanley.
The academy coaches Dartford Ladies' Football Club at Princes Park Stadium to help promote girls' football in the borough.
During the two-hour sessions, budding sports stars will hone their ball skills, practice penalty shoot-outs and play five-a-side tournaments.
Evolution football coach Catherine Fitzpatrick said: "We are aiming to encourage both boys and girls to participate more in sport so they can learn about discipline, teamwork and motivation."
