THE summer holidays ended with a bang in Erith as the shopping centre laid on a last splash of entertainment before the return to school.
An African dance troupe The Black Eagles performed a series of acrobatic dance moves to African music, to impress shoppers in Erith's Riverside Centre, in Erith town centre, while the Balloonatics entertained making hats, animals and other items from balloons, for the passing children.
There was also music from The Sneakers, a trio of fun musicians who played a mixture of ska, rock and roll and swing jazz.
