If the answer is yes then you are not alone, according to research released by a healthcare insurance firm.
Workers admitted doing as little as possible, struggling to concentrate and making mistakes when they feel worse for wear.
One thousand people and 250 businesses were questioned about drinking habits in relation to the workplace for the poll.
What is the worst thing you have done after drinking in front of your colleagues? How do you cope with being hungover at work? Add your comments below or have your say on the News Shopper forum.

This certainly is [bold]NOT[/bold] new news. People coming into work hungover or a bit merry from the previous evening has been going on for years. Working in the entertainment/media industry is so common for people to socialise after work, during lunchtimes and coming into work hungover. You just get on with your job spite how crap you feel because you have work to procduce. My bosses when I worked at various newspapers always went out lunch time to the boozers. They never had a problem producing work.

We all go to the pub for lunch on a Friday in my office i think it does good for people who work together to socialise, aslong as what work needs to be done is done i dont see the problem! Its not like people go to the pub at lunch to comeback totally p*ssed and out of it!

I agree, nothing wrong with socialising with workmates, but when the work suffers it is a problem.
That is why we get a 'shoddy' service in this country.Drink seems to taking preferance to work, in a lot of cases.

My colleague at work Can Crusher (and friend i may add) drank 9 bottles of Becks one lunchtime. Needless to say he was walloped. Was a good giggle back at work mind...
My other friend Donkey Kong reputedly drank 8 pints of stella and 2 sambucas one lunch time, although that is to be confirmed.
Can Crusher defo ironed out 9 Becks tho as i saw it with my own eyes.
Ps we call him Donkey Kong cos thats what he looks like when he is driving a car.
Doc, leave Sunny alone you wally.

Thank you "The Real Me"......and yes it is true I was a bit merry after 9 becks at lunch, but it was only once. I enjoy a couple of midday pints (espically when the weathers like this)and I don't see the problem. It is an individual's responsibility to know when his drinking habits are effecting his work and personal life and to to do something about it.

now now unohoo, no need to resort to name calling!
Here's a ditty for you all. (Sung to the tune of 'A Bicycle made for two').
Sunny, Sunny, give us your answer do,
Why keep drinking if it makes you go a loo?
Now knocking back a pinta,
Won't do you any good,
So quit the booze,
Come out of the loos,
I really wish you would!
(Commisserations Sunny, but your name had the best ring about it for the song, lol!)
