A 60-YEAR-OLD driver suffered a head injury in a car crash in Welling last night (May 6).
He was also left suffering from neck and back pain after the accident in Sutherland Avenue at around 10pm.
Firefighters had to cut his Peugeot's roof off to free him after his estate car was in collision with two stationary vehicles - which are believed to be a BT van and a black Peugeot.
An ambulance took the estate's driver to Queen Mary's Hospital, Sidcup, where he is thought to be in a serious condition.
There are no reports of anyone else being injured.
