THREE men have been arrested after a spate of gunpoint robberies on commuters.

The arrests follow an overnight operation by Bexley police on November 29 and November 30. The robberies all took place in Thamesmead and Abbey Wood.

Student Olatokunbo Fasina, aged 18, of Lensbury Way, Thamesmead, is charged with robberies in Lensbury Way and Maran Way, Thamesmead, and possession of a firearm at both locations with intent to cause fear of violence, all on or before November 29.

Alieu Jallow, aged 18, of Radley House, Wolvercote Road, Thamesmead, is charged with robbery at Landridge Road, Thamesmead, and possession of a firearm with intent, in Maran Way, both on November 30.

Unemployed Sheku Kamara, aged 20, of Godstow Road, Abbey Wood, is charged with robbery and possession of a firearm with intent in Maran Way on November 30.

Greenwich magistrates remanded all three in custody.
