POLICE are hunting two men who carried out a knife-point robbery at an off licence.

The men, both black, forced their way into Thresher Wine Merchants in Brampton Road, Bexleyheath, on February 6 at about 10pm, after it was closed.

A member of staff in the shop locked himself in the office, but the robbers kicked a hole in the door and smashed their way in.

One man held a knife to the shop worker's throat while another searched the office.

They took £800 in cash before leaving again by the front door.

Police believe the men then walked along Shakespeare Road, got into a vehicle and drove off.

The pair are thought to be in their mid-20s and were wearing dark woolly hats, dark jeans and trainers and dark jackets.

The staff member was bruised, but otherwise unhurt.
