Hendon Tories this week welcomed Shadow Foreign Secretary Francis Maude MP, recently returned from a trip to Israel.
Mr Maude met with members of the Hendon Conservative Association at Hyver Hall in Barnet Road, Arkley, on Tuesday evening, accompanied by Tory prospective parliamentary candidate for Hendon Richard Evans and GLA member Brian Coleman.
Mr Evans said: "He (Mr Maude)explained that the party is going from strength to strength. People felt very excited by what was going on."
Artist David Shepherd held an auction in aid of Hendon Conservative Association and wild elephants.
