A student was threatened with a gun and ordered to withdraw £40 from a cashpoint in Station Road, Harrow, on Tuesday evening last week.

Police said the robber approached the victim as he was about to withdraw cash from the Woolwich's machine and lifted his shirt to reveal a chrome handgun tucked into his trousers. He then ordered the 22-year-old to withdraw the money and hand it over.

The robber was a bearded, 25-year-old Asian man, 6ft tall, and wearing a yellow, long-sleeved shirt and dark jeans.

Witnesses can contact investigating officer Det Con Paul Henton on 0181 733 3434.
