A FORMER Tory leader came to canvass in Orpington this morning.
Michael Howard has been showing his support for Boris Johnson's mayoral campaign by walking along Crofton Road, Orpington.
The ex-Conservative leader was knocking on doors and handing out fliers.
He said: "This a very important vote. It's crucial people come out to vote. The Mayor of London has a lot of power and Londoners need to have a say on how that is exercised."
Other candidates standing for the upcoming elections on May 1 include current Mayor, Ken Livingstone for Labour and Brian Paddick for the Liberal Democrats.
Other candidates standing will be announced on April 2.
