Chance to have antiques valued
 |
| Antiques Roadshow expert Nick Lambert takes a close look at a piece of jewellery BR5365 |
RESIDENTS raided their attics for a visit by a team of experts from the Antiques Roadshow.
Led by Adam Schoon, one of the valuers on the BBC1 show, the free event attracted hundreds of residents.
Held at The Glades shopping centre in Bromley, the two-day event saw items such as a Victorian stethoscope and a collection of Art Deco drawings put forward for valuation.
Mr Schoon said: "The choice of antiques to admire this year has been extraordinary.
"We have had to think hard for values on some of the items due to their rarity."
