RESIDENTS have had fun taking part in Tai Chi lessons.
The lessons were part of a national event called Full of Life. The event celebrated the contribution of older people in society.
Around 1,000 people attended the Tai Chi lessons and other events which took place at Gravesham Civic Centre in Windmill Street on October 3.
The Tai Chi lessons, who were for people aged 50 and above, were part of other events which included walks, golf, and classes in English and Maths.
David Turner deputy leader of Gravesham Council and cabinet member for leisure and health said: "The events went exceptionally well.
"The turnout was very impressive and exceeded all our expectations."
