NEWS Shopper's seven-strong team is raring to go in the Petts Wood 10k race.
After last year's sellout inaugural event, organisers the Petts Wood Runners are confident of getting a capacity field of 750 this time around.
The one-lap course runs through picturesque National Trust woodland and suburban streets.
Sponsorship money raised will go to charity Harris HospisCare.
There were concerns over the future of the race when its main sponsor pulled out but other benefactors have stepped in - including News Shopper.
Confidence among News Shopper's runners is inadvisably high.
Bromley reporter Scott Mullins said: "I'm feeling good and have already started carbs loading ahead of the big event. How many carbohydrates are in chocolate bars and cheese and onion crisps?"
And Dartford reporter Michael Purton said: "I was already in great physical condition."
The race starts at 10.30am on Sunday at Willett Recreation Ground in Cross Way.
