ENTHUSIASTIC vegetable and flower growers have the chance to show off their talents by entering a village show.
Gravesham Village Show is taking place on August 30 in Shears Green Community Hall in Westcott Avenue, Northfleet, and there are more than 50 categories to enter.
The show has been organised by Gravesham Borough Allotment and Garden Society, and it will include vegetable, flower, craft, home economics and children's competitions.
Residents can also enter the best bread pudding or best homemade jam too and schools can enter the longest runner bean, best arrangement of dried flowers and best miniature garden categories.
Deadlines for entries is August 29 and the cost is 20p per entry. Judging starts at 1.30pm and the show will open to the public at 2.30pm.
