A GREAT-GRANDMOTHER wants to thank the family who helped save her dog after it became trapped down a hole.
Doris Culwick was walking her Yorkshire terrier Billy, who is blind and diabetic, when it fell down a manhole near Kent Road, Orpington.
The 77-year-old, who is staying with her daughter in Anglesey Road, Orpington, paid tribute to the firemen who came to her dog's rescue.
But Mrs Culwick, from the Isle of Sheppey, is especially keen to get in touch with a family which carried her 12-year-old dog, who was covered in raw sewage, back to where she was staying and washed it for her.
She said: "They were little angels."
If you are from the family who helped Mrs Culwick on May 27, call her on 01795 510964.
