Youth project for budding musicians
BUDDING musicians could have the chance to make their mark with the introduction of two youth
projects.
Bromley-based youth charity JusB has launched its new programme to try and get children off the street sand into the studio to cut anti-social behaviour.
Its Music Project aims to give 11 to 18-year-olds the chance to create new tracks and lyrics, while the Early Project will give those aged 11 to 13 the opportunity to get behind the decks for some DJ and MC experience.
There will also be the chance to create short films at the JusB Centre in College Road.
Youth worker Jerry Nicholas said: "These projects are going to be very important for young people and the community.
"All the children just love coming down here to
create."
The new activities, costing £1 a sesssion, are run on Monday and Tuesday nights and anyone interested in joining the programme can call the charity on 020 8464 2722.
