Cyclists take on Tour de Penge
 |
| Bike riders of all ages covered the 14-mile festival route |
WHO needs the Tour de France when you have the Tour de Penge?
As part of the Penge Festival, more than 70 cyclists of all ages took part in a bike ride from Royston Field in Penge to Greenwich Park and back - a journey of 14 miles.
The Penge Festival is an annual event which aims to bring the community together.
This year's event was marshalled by the Penge and Cator Safer Neighbourhoods Team and the Bromley Safer Transport Team.
One of the cyclists, Penny Read, aged 47, Westbury Road, Penge, is a member of the Friends of Royston Field.
She said: "It was a really good day.
"It was a way of bringing the community
together for a healthy and enjoyable bike ride."
