A 22-YEAR-OLD man has been arrested on suspicion of murdering a Catford teenager.
The suspect remains in custody at a south London police station where he is being questioned about the death of Kwame Ofosu-Asare.
Kwame was stabbed in Adelaide Close, Brixton, at about 5.50pm last Friday (March 2).
The 17-year-old was en route to a south London hospital when he died in the ambulance.
Officers believe Kwame – a sixth form student – was with a friend on their way to his friend’s relative’s house in Brixton when they were chased by two young men and assaulted.
Kwame’s friend was not injured.
