Road closures were put in place after reportedly two occupants of a car ‘fled from the scene’ when they crashed into a parked vehicle in Plumstead.
Police were called to incident in Waverly Road at around 9.20pm last night (April 12) to reports of a road traffic collision.
A Met Police spokesman said a witness reported two people being involved, however, as they fled this is currently unconfirmed.
No injuries were reported, nor have any arrests been made, and now officers from Greenwich have opened enquiries to trace those involved.
The road closures were put in place following the incident and were lifted shortly after midnight the following day (April 13).
