The mother of a man who went missing twenty days ago has told of her desperation as she searches for her son.

Wolfgang Able, 22, of Ringstead Road, Catford, went missing on November 7.

His mother, Irene Oula, 44, of Endware Road in Brockley, says that he suffers from psychosis. Mr Able does not have access to his medication.

Now, 20 days after her son went missing, Ms Oula says she is desperate for answers and wants the police to do more to find him.

Ms Oula said: “Why is he doing this? What has happened? I don’t have any answers. He should tell me why he has done this to me. Everyone is worried, we don’t know why he has gone.

“I would be so pleased to see him. He’s my son and the only one that looks like me and we are always together.

“When he’s not at school he is with me and we go shopping together, he’s so close to me.

“We discuss lots of things. He’s very, very intelligent. We talk about the future and what he is going to do. Everywhere I go he calls me and says ‘mum, where are you?’ He’s always here with me.”

Ms Oula has been off work for three weeks searching every day for her son even though she has three other kids she needs to look after.

Mr Able has never disappeared before and so his mother is worried that he did not leave on his own accord.

She said: “Maybe somebody kidnapped him, or they are making him suffer. I really don’t know what to think. I’m scared. I don’t want anything to happen to him.”

Ms Oula spoke to News Shopper and made a direct plea to her son.

She said: “If I have done something that you are not happy about please come home and we can talk about it.

“It’s not right you going missing and me not knowing where you are, getting worried.

“Come home, I need you. Everyone needs you. Your brothers, your sisters, everybody needs you.

“You really have to come home because we miss you. We miss you and we don’t want to lose you.”

Anybody who has any information that could help the police with their search should call 101.
