A pop-up micro-pub is coming to Forest Hill with its own royal themed drinks and cocktails in teapots.
Run by local micro-pub business Little Nan, the Royal Parlour will be under the Stag and Bow pub every Friday and Saturday starting from October 13.
On top of the cocktails in teapots, the kitsch royal parlour will serve craft beers, champagne and sharing platters of finger food.
The cocktails include:
King William: Bourbon whiskey, amaretto, chilled cola, prosecco
Duchess Kate: Vodka, licor 43, spiced rum, crisp cranberry juice, lime
Queen Pat Butcher: Spiced rum, fresh lemon, grenadine, bitter lemon soda
Lady Liz: White rum, spicy rum, apple, cucumber, raspberry, mint leaves, lemonade, prosecco
Mr Charles Windsor: Earl Grey gin, Bermondsy tonic, fresh lemon juice
Saint Spencer: Campari, London gin, Bermondsy tonic water, lemon and lime juice
Prince Markle: Dark rum, spiced rum, fresh lime, fresh ginger, ginger beer, mint leaves
Little Nan started up in early 2013 with a bar in a windowless back room of a nightclub off Deptford High Street with furnishings from the owner’s Nan.
It originally intended to be a beer and cider bar, but the cocktails in teapots became so popular the micro-bar started popping up across Lewisham borough.
Now Little Nan will be at Forest Hill with its royal theme, this time with the original Nan’s sisters’ furnishings.
Being a huge royal family fan, Little Nan’s Sister had loads of royal memorabilia which is what the Royal Parlour micro-pub will be decorated with.
Royal Parlour will remain at its location under the Stag and Bow until December 16.
