Two men have appeared in court after a man was stabbed to death in Wandsworth.

Abdullah Hammia, 24, died after being stabbed in Melody Road near Wandsworth Common on April 25.

Kearn Johnson, 21, of King Arthur Close, Southwark, appeared at Camberwell Magistrates’ on Monday (May 1) charged with murder and possession of an offensive weapon.

Elliot D'Aguiar, 25, of St Donnatts Road, Lewisham, was charged with perverting the course of justice.

Both were charged on April 30.

Johnson was remanded to the Old Bailey today (May 3) and D’Aguiar was bailed to appear at the Old Bailey on May 30.

A 30-year-old man, a 29-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were also arrested in connection with the investigation.

All three were released from custody and will not be proceeded with.
