A man has been arrested after two police officers were attacked during a drugs raid in Lee.
The two officers, from Greenwich were taken to hospital with head and facial injuries after they were struck with a heavy object while searching the premises in Courtlands Avenue on Thursday, February 9.
The suspects, who are believed to be two or three men, fled the scene.
A quantity of Class A drugs and cannabis was found at the scene and further enquires established that the premises were being used as part of a drugs supply operation.
It was not a cannabis factory and was not otherwise involved in cultivating drugs.
A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of being involved in the supply of drugs in the early hours of this morning (Friday, February 10).
He was taken into custody at a south London police station.
Enquiries continue to trace at least one outstanding suspect.
