The finalists for the annual British Kebab Awards have been announced and takeaways and restaurants from the News Shopper area dominate the list.
Nine restaurants have been selected across south-east London and north Kent, with some recieving nominations in multiple categories.
Categories include London's Best Takeaway, London's Best Newcomer, Best and Best Kebab Restaurant in South and East London.
Members of the public were invited to nominate their favourite kebab shops.
These have been cut down to a shortlist based on the number of public votes received, hygiene scores with bonus points for nominations from MPs expected to attend by the dozen on the big night.
