Police in Lewisham were called to reports of an unexploded World War Two bomb in Hither Green.
Officers were called at 2pm today to a private address in Manor Park.
The area was cordoned off while expert officers investigated further.

It was discovered that the object was not an unexploded bomb and the cordon has been removed.
