Commuters were hit by train chaos this morning after 'extreme' speed restrictions were put in place due to a damaged section of the track at New Cross.
Services between New Cross and London Cannon Street may be cancelled, delayed by up to 40 minutes or revised, and can only run at 5mph in what is usually a 50mph zone.
The disruption is expected to continue until the end of the day.
In a statement on their website Southeastern said: "Mainline services that normally run to and from Cannon Street via Tonbridge / Orpington will be diverted to and from London Blackfriars, or will be revised.
"Fast services via Chatham that normally run into Cannon Street will be diverted to London Victoria.
"We plan to run most 'Metro' services (via Sidcup / Bexleyheath / Woolwich / Greenwich / to and from Hayes) on their normal route to and from London Cannon Street, but trains are likely to be delayed."
