Discount chain Poundland has stunned customers with its latest range of cut-price products - £1 sex toys.

The family store is selling the Bullet vibrator alongside lubricants and condoms.

Previously we’ve reported how budget gadgets for adults seeking cheap thrills were on sale at Poundland stores in Dartford and also in Lewisham.

The retailer has recently expanded its range to be stocked in more outlets, and social media sites have been abuzz with comments following the move.

Stunned Sasha wrote on Twitter: "Today I saw a 'vibrating bullet' in poundland, now I really have seen it all."

Another Twitter user wrote: "Who the hell buys a vibrator from Poundland? Surely it can't be up to much for a quid!"

The Bullet was recently discussed on the controversial Channel 4 programme Sex Box.

Sexologist Goedele Liekens compared it to "something that you would pay about a hundred pounds for."

On its website Poundland boasts "amazing value on all your leisure and entertainment essentials."

A Poundland spokesman said: "Alongside the bullet the range also includes various lubricants and three pack Durex and Sure 12 pack condoms, all at its famous £1 price point.

"Poundland is a responsible retailer and encourages safe sex."

What do you think about these bargain sex toys being on sale? Is it inappropriate for a so-called family store such as Poundland to be selling these products? Add your comments below.
