Fifty people were evacuated in a New Cross street after a car crashed into a house, causing a gas leak.
Two women were treated for shock after the car ruptured a gas main in Pump Lane yesterday morning.
London Fire Brigade were called at 7.55am and the incident was over at 10.49am.
Fire crews from New Cross, West Norwood, Croydon, Battersea and East Ham attended the scene.
