The harsh divide of Brexit has been causing tensions in Lewisham as one homeowner responds to their neighbour's Vote Leave stance with this hilarious sign.
Spotted in Algernon Road yesterday, the Remain supporter has reacted to their neighbour’s Vote Leave poster with a handwritten sign pointing next door and reading “please do not”.
Stewart Whitworth posted the picture on Twitter, saying: “Rare Leave voter in #Lewisham not impressing his neighbour, who was given a printed Remain poster by @LewishamLabour.”
It comes as people across the country prepare to have their say on the EU referendum when voting begins on Thursday.
The Leave and Remain camps are neck and neck according to the latest polls, as both sides ramp up efforts in the final week of campaigning.
