Holiday makers heading to Nantes will have to put up with severe delays after a blockade was set up at the entrance to the French airport.
London City Airport has reported "restricted access" in Nantes airport and advises that passengers check the status of their booking before travelling.
France is currently in the grip of nationwide strikes after the government tried to introduce tougher labour law reforms.
The country's oil refineries, nuclear power stations and public transport have been targeted after it's biggest union CGT joined the protests.
The BBC reported that riot police have battled protesters in Paris and other cities, making 77 arrests with 15 officers injured and cars and shops vandalised.
