Amongst the hard-hitting offences dealt with by police this week, officers in Lewisham helped a family of geese safely cross a busy road in Downham.
The adorable gaggle of geese and their 10 chicks were struggling to cross Whitefoot Lane when the officers lent a helping hand.
The adult geese were pictured travelling in convoy earlier this week, presumably making their way to water to enjoy the sunshine.
Lewisham MPS told News Shopper: "The result was the family happily and safely crossed to the other side!"
