Heavy rain and strong winds could cause flooding in parts of north Kent and south-east London today, the Met Office has warned.
A severe weather warning for rain has been put in place following the onslaught of storm Jonas.
Experts warned that the UK would be hit by remnants of the storm yesterday (January 27), which has killed 18 people along the East Coast of America.

Now, the Met Office have advised residents to expect heavy rainfall until at least 3pm this afternoon.
Up to 20mm of rain is expected to fall in some areas.
A spokesman said: "With this falling on saturated ground some localised flooding is possible.
"Please be aware of the potential for local disruption to travel from flooding and some difficult driving conditions."
