Police have arrested a man following an alleged ammonia attack at a Downham pub.
The man was detained on suspicion of GBH after ammonia was reportedly thrown into a person’s face at the Downham Tavern in Downham Way at around 7.10pm on Saturday (January 24).
Lewisham officers tweeted: “A male has been arrested for GBH following an incident in BR1 where the victim had #ammonia thrown in his face.”
