Firefighters freed an injured man trapped in a car after a crash in Forest Hill.
Two cars collided in Havelock Walk at around 6.20am today (November 18) causing severe delays on the nearby South Circular, Dartmouth Road and London Road.
Two fire engines and a fire rescue unit, from London Fire Brigade, were sent to the scene of the crash as an injured man was trapped inside one of the cars.
After firefighters released the man from the vehicle, London Ambulance Service paramedics treated him for injuries, which police say are not believed to be life-threatening.
He was taken to hospital.
Road closures were in place as emergency services dealt with the smash, causing long queues for motorists in the area.
Fire crews left the scene at 7.25am, shortly before the road reopened.
A Met Police spokesperson said no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
