A woman was taken to hospital after she was struck by a bus in Lewisham on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services were called at 4.20pm to reports of a pedestrian hit by a bus on Lewisham High Street at the junction with Albion Way.
Motorists were caught up in massive tailbacks through Lewisham town centre following the crash with buses diverted and delayed.
Pictures emerged on Twitter of passersby and police crowded around the woman, who suffered an arm injury.
A Met Police spokesman said her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening or life-changing.
Model Lorna Roberts, who saw the aftermath of the crash, told News Shopper: “It’s the second one I’ve seen on that same spot.
“The last one I saw was in December last year, a guy was hit by a bus, which smashed the windscreen and then clipped by another bus.
“Today’s was a 108 going toward the police station.

“They need railings there. It’s so dangerous.
"I didn't see the lady hit today, just people crowded round her.
"I think it must have just happened."
The collision has caused huge delays through the town centre
London Ambulance Service sent an ambulance crew and a single responder in a car.
Paramedics treated the woman's arm injury at the scene before taking her to hospital.
