A 21-year-man was taken to hospital yesterday (June 26) after being his moped collided with a car in Sydenham.
Met Police and London Ambulance Service both attended the crash, at 7.50pm on Sydenham Road, and the young man was taken to a south London hospital.
A Met Police spokesman said: "Police were called at approximately 7.50pm on Friday, June 26 to reports of a car in collision with a moped on Sydenham Road.
"Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.
"The 21-year-old male rider was taken to a south London hospital suffering from a leg injury; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening."
Police enquiries continue. No arrests have been made.
