Dramatic pictures showed fire fighters cutting the roof off a car last night (June 25) following a Sydenham accident which saw a driver taken to hospital.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 6.16pm to Kirkdale, following reports of a collision between two cars.
Officers and the London Fire Brigade attended.
Lewisham police tweeted photos as fire crews removed the top of one car to free a man who was trapped inside.
The male driver of one of the cars was taken to a south London hospital but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
