1. Two arrested after officers are run over by moped in Waterway Avenue, Lewisham

A Lewisham police officer has suffered a broken collar bone after being deliberately ploughed into by a moped.

A second officer suffered an ankle injury after being struck by the same moped.

Two males, aged 16 and 20, have since been arrested.

2. Concerns raised over funds received by Beths Grammar School, Bexley, from Chinese government

A Bexley grammar school receive thousands of pounds in funding from the Chinese government, it has been revealed.

Campaign group Free Tibet are worried children will be taught 'propaganda' through the programme.

3. 'Bromley Batman' speaks out as fourth person claims to have seen masked vigilante in action

A have-a-go hero dubbed the ‘Bromley Batman’ has said he would prefer to be known as ‘The Shadow’.

He also said his war on crime began three years ago, and he patrols lots of areas around London most nights.

4. Kings Farm Primary School, Gravesend, in TV investigation over cheating exam system

A Kent primary school has appeared in a Dispatches investigation about cheating in exams.

The programme revealed that Kings Farm Primary had last Summer’s SATs results annulled due to cheating allegations.

5. Kent Police called to break up early morning Swanley car boot sale fight

News Shopper:

Kent Police were called to Swanley before 8am on Sunday morning, after an 'assault' at a car boot sale.

A South East Coast Ambulance paramedic was also called, and treated a man for an injury near his eye.
