Police were called to Maze Hill station this afternoon to deal with "trespassers" who shut the Woolwich line.
Southeastern announced that the power would be turned off on the line at around 3.45pm because seven people had got on to the tracks.
However, British Transport Police said they found only one person on the line, a 13-year-old girl.
She was arrested on suspicion of railway trespass and is currently assisting officers with their enquiries.
During the disruption, there were no services between London and Charlton. Trains were being diverted via Lewisham and Blackheath.
Power was restored at around 4.10pm.
