A woman was arrested after assaulting a train worker at Orpington.
The British Transport Police (BTP) were called to Orpington station just before 9am this morning (May 22).
They were responding to reports a staff member was being assaulted by a member of the public.
MORE TOP STORIES A 19-year-old woman from Lewisham was arrested on suspicion of common assault, a public order offence and fare evasion.
She is currently assisting officers with their enquiries.
The victim, a 28-year-old woman who worked for Southeastern, did not require medical attention.
A spokesman for the BTP said: “Anyone who witnessed the incident is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting incident 131 of 22/05/2015.”
The Met Police also attended.
