Broke at Greenwich Theatre from Thursday (January 22) to Saturday (January 24)

Multi-award winning company The Paper Birds went to foodbanks, the Salvation Army and elsewhere to chat to people struggling to make ends meet. The result is a verbatim account, which promises to be essential theatre and somehow fun. “It’s not as heavy as it sounds,” said artistic director Jemma McDowell.
