More than 400 marijuana plants have been seized by Lewisham Police in a Downham cannabis factory.
Officers received information from members of the public relating to cannabis being cultivated in Downham Way.
Executing a warrant on Thursday, police did not find anybody inside the property but found plants placed in every single room of the house. Sergeant Karl Parish from the Downham Safer Neighbourhoods team said: "We are thankful to members of the public who have called us with information. We quickly acted on the intelligence received and have made a serious dent in criminals’ pockets by dismantling their cannabis factory.”
Anyone with information about drugs and crime can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or PS Parish on 0208 284 5163.
