Lewisham Council is consulting on plans reduce congestion and improve the so-called Brockley Corridor.

The corridor includes Brockley Road and Stondon Park and, because of its proximity to Brockley, Crofton Park and Honor Oak Park stations, has a lot of pedestrians using it.

Proposals, funded by Transport for London, aim to reduce traffic congestion and improve safety for cyclists and walkers, boost air quality and enhance the public realm.

Plans include redesigning the junction of Wickham Road and Brockley Road while widening its pavements and improving crossings.

There is a similar proposal for the junction of Brockley Rise and Stondon Park, along with a plan to create a public space in front of the Chandos pub.

Large scale versions are on show at Crofton Park community library and the St Andrew’s Centre.

And on September 17 from 6.30pm to 8pm and September 20 from 1pm to 2.30pm, you can question the scheme's designers at Crofton park library.
